Rarely does a pattern stop me in my tracks and have me re-evaluate all of my knitting projects for the season, but OMG… Yara from Natasja Hornby.
Click here for kits or come into the shop to design your own!

A detail of these Late Bloomer mittens is on the cover of issue 10 of Making magazine. I initially thought, gorgeous, but too hard. BUT, once I looked at how they are actually made, I was thrilled. A mitten pattern with strategically placed bobbles then the flowers top-stitched on after. Fun, creative, not difficult.
We have kits available in 7 colors and come with the issue of Making, which we’ve been re-stocking over and over. Word of caution… they are addictive and several of us have made more than one pair.

I am a huge fan of the women from Espace Tricot. They are elegant, smart and generous in offering their original patterns for free on Ravelry. It is at the top of the list of shops I want to visit. They are creating quite a fiber empire there in Montreal.
Above is Onding made in Woolfolk Luft. A soft, bulky chainette yarn that offers all of the warmth of a bulky yarn without it feeling heavy on your body or too floppy to hold it’s drape. We have kits available in several colors on the site or in the shop.

At Twill, we love to make socks and fingerless mitts in the summer because it easy to travel with and not hot on your lap or in your hands. Sandy is making the Wishmaker Mitts by Erica Heusser. They are absolutely adorable! We have made smaller (10 gram) balls of yarn in many colors so you can create your own custom kit. Come in to the shop and get started today!

Laura is working on the X&O Mitts by Helen Gray. We just love the traditional Fair Isle knitting style of these fun mitts. Smaller 10 gram balls of yarn in a variety of colors are available as well. This will save your form purchasing full skeins of yarn in many colors. Come in the shop and see what we have available.

Andrea Mowry's Shift Cowl is hot, hot, hot right now. It's truly as unique as the Spincycle yarn used to make it. Come find your color combination today!

Martin Storey's Corinthian Wrap is gorgeous! The wrap below is made with Rowan Felted Tweed DK - we have many beautiful colors in stock!

A perfect layering piece. A relaxed neckline, with a finished length just to the elbow this piece flatters women of all sizes. It is a simple knit and here in the shop, it has become a first color-work and/or first short row piece for several of our confident beginners or recent Learn to Knit graduates.

Isabel Kraemer's Humulus is a top-down yoked sweater that we love so much we made it part of a KAL! Knit it entirely in Rowan Felted Tweed DK, or make a heavier sweater with Spincycle Dream State and Jo Sharp DK.
-
Midori Hirose's Ranunculus is an airy, quick-to-knit pullover with a touch of texture on the yoke. Sandy knit one in Silky Wool, and Mercedes knit one in Madelinetosh Twist Light.
-
A perfect layering piece. A relaxed neckline, Joji Locatelli's Hipster Shawl is a fuss-free, quick-to-knit shawl. Make it in a worsted yarn such as Madelinetosh DK. Pam just made one in the colorway "Celadon.
We also have been making the Lightweight Hipster Shawl, which has been the prefect little layer for an air conditioned restaurant or simply to provide just the right little summer accessory.
Kits are available on the site or in the shop. Just that one special skein of Tosh that you can’t resist.

Continuing with the theme of yoked colorwork sweaters, Jennifer Steingass's Sigrún is a bottom-up sweater that utilizes short rows for a flattering fit. Knit it in Rowan Felted Tweed DK or Erika Knight British Blue Wool.
